Who is responsible

The data controller for exactscoreai.com is Simone Ruggiero, Naples, Italy (simone.ruggiero97@gmail.com). The site has no user accounts, no newsletter and no payment flow, so it collects very little data. This page lists all of it.

Votes on predictions

When you vote for or against a prediction, the site sets a first-party cookie named esai_voter that contains a random identifier. It is used only to remember your vote, so you can change it and so each browser counts once per match. It is not linked to your name or email and expires after one year.

To stop one address from flooding the fan board, the vote is stored together with a salted, truncated SHA-256 hash of your IP address. The IP address itself is never stored. Votes are kept in a Cloudflare D1 database for as long as the fan board shows them.

Analytics

We count visits with PureAnalytics (https://pure-analytics.com), which also powers the live reader count on the homepage. It records aggregate data such as the page visited, the referrer, the country and the device type.

On your first visit a banner asks for consent, and nothing is tracked until you choose. If you accept, the site stores two first-party cookies, ea_visitor_id (a random ID, 12 months) and ea_session_id (30 minutes), to recognise later visits from the same browser; your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage (ea_consent). If you decline, or click outside the banner, no cookie is stored and the visit is counted anonymously with an ID that changes every day.

The IP address is stored without its last octet. The data is not used for advertising, not sold or shared with third parties, and not used to track you across other websites. Do Not Track is respected. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes technical request data (IP address, user agent, time of the request) to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's own privacy policy. The public API and the MCP server use your IP address only in memory to apply the rate limit, and do not store it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access or delete the data linked to your vote cookie, or object to its processing, by writing to simone.ruggiero97@gmail.com. You can also delete the esai_voter cookie from your browser at any time: your past votes stay counted but can no longer be linked to you. The same goes for the analytics cookies: clearing this site's data removes them and brings the consent banner back. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
